Clubhouse

Our clubhouse features a large multi-purpose room (with a stage, professional lighting, audio-visual equipment, and a hearing loop) for park activities, meals, movies, music, and meetings, as well as several smaller rooms for other activities.

Game Rooms

You can almost always find a group playing dominoes or cards, or someone working on a puzzle, in one of our clubhouse game rooms.

Fitness Center

Our exercise room includes a variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, an elliptical machine, a multi-station weight machine, free weights, and more.

Dog Park

Our large dog park is fenced so Fido can run and play off-leash. (Please pick up after your pet.)

Laundromat

Coin-operated commercial-style clothes washers and dryers are available for use by all members and guests.

Workshops

Our fully-equipped wood shop and metal shop are available for use by all members and guests. Tools are also available for loan for repairs and improvements at your site.

Founders Park

Beautiful Founders Park is our outdoor activity hub, where you'll find daily social hours, a group campfire area, a wood-burning pizza oven, and a large covered pavilion for gatherings.

Library

Curl up with a good read in our library, or check out books and videos to enjoy in your RV.

Kitchen

Our clubhouse kitchen is fully equipped with commercial appliances and utensils to cook for and serve more than 100 people at once.

Billiards Room

Chalk up your cue stick and get ready for a friendly game of pool in our billiards room.

Propane Refills

Propane cylinder and tank refills at competitive prices are available each Monday morning from mid-October through mid-April.

Gardens

Landscaped gardens throughout the park provide beautiful oases of plants and water features in which to relax.

Services in Benson

With almost everything for all your day-to-day needs available within a 10-minute or less drive from the park, the SKP Saguaro Co-op is a great place to stay!

Healthcare

Benson Hospital offers a 24/7 emergency department, inpatient and skilled nursing services, outpatient services, and a primary care clinic. Benson also has several family medicine practices, two dental offices, and a physical therapy provider.

Pharmacies

Safeway Pharmacy, Walmart Pharmacy, and Chiricahua Community Health’s Benson Pharmacy all serve city residents and visitors.

Grocery Stores

Benson has two full-service grocery stores: a Safeway and a Walmart Supercenter.

Veterinarians

Benson Animal Hospital is just ⅓ mile from the park. There are two other veterinary practices in the city as well.

Hardware & building materials

Benson ACE Hardware features a huge inventory of parts and supplies as well as a knowledgeable staff. Benson Lumber and Supply carries lumber and other building materials.

Churches

Denominations represented include Baptist, Catholic, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Methodist, Lutheran, Latter-Day Saints, Church of God, Assemblies of God, Seventh-Day Adventist, and Churches of Christ, as well as several non-denominational congregations.

Library

The Benson Public Library offers a wide variety of media and resources including books, audio tapes, CDs, and videos.

Restaurants

Cuisines at Benson restaurants include Mexican, American, steak, home cooking, and pizza. There are also locations of most major fast-food chains.

Salons

Nine different salons and barber shops provide beauty and grooming services to Benson residents.

Postal Services

The Benson Post Office is open weekdays and delivers to our park six days a week. Ship Arizona provides full-service pack & ship services by UPS and FedEx.

Financial Services

Two banks (WaFd and National Bank of Arizona) and two credit unions (American Southwest and Southeastern Arizona Federal) have branch offices in Benson.

Auto Repair

Benson has two auto parts stores (O’Reilly and NAPA) as well as a collision repair shop and several garages providing tires and general auto care and repair. Love’s Travel Stop also has a Speedco location for heavy truck tire and lube services.

Air Transportation

Benson has a general aviation airport (no scheduled air service). Tucson International Airport, just 45 minutes from our park, provides scheduled commercial service from Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Sun Country, and United Airlines.

Rail Service

Benson’s train station is a stop on two Amtrak passenger routes, the Sunset Limited (between New Orleans and Los Angeles) and the Texas Eagle (between Chicago and Los Angeles).
