We’re An Active Co-op
SKP co-op’s are favored destinations among many Escapees members. Something that sets these parks like ours apart from other RV parks is the atmosphere of community: from their shared amenities to their well-attended social gatherings, you will find yourself surrounded by friends and kindred spirits. Because we are operated and maintained by our leaseholders, there is a personal touch to all we do.
Each SKP co-op sets its own rules and is self-governing with a board of directors elected by the members. Operating expenses are shared equally among the membership by way of an annual maintenance fee. Availability of rental spaces at Saguaro SKP Co-op depends on our members putting their lots into a rental pool while they travel. During the popular season, there may be fewer spaces for rent. Call in advance to check the availability of rental sites.
We rely on our volunteers to keep our park running smoothly. So if you’re here for just a week, a month, or even longer, volunteers are always welcome.
Community Involvement
SKP Saguaro members take great pride in the volunteerism we do for our community. We can be found helping out at our local food bank, food pantry and at the Benson Hospital. We conduct a twice a year litter clean up to help keep Benson beautiful. The co-op holds special annual fundraising campaigns to buy holiday gifts for foster children and those in adult services along with special food bank drives to collect donations of food and money at critical times of the year. We support our local high school culinary arts student by purchasing meals prepared in their program. Our quilters, knitters, artisans and woodworkers donate countless items each year through various co-op charity events.
